Martin Sikma is a wildlife photographer from the Netherlands. He has a great passion for wild forest animals and loves the serenity nature provides. In 2019, he closely followed the behavior of forest animals close to his home. In a way, it surprised him how vastly different their characters were. Since that moment, he started to portraiture the wildlife he observed. He aims to photograph the wildlife in such a way that the viewer can emotionally connect with the animal, just as the photographer did at that specific moment.
